The Royal Welsh Winter Fair 2026 takes place on Monday 30 November and Tuesday 1 December at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, near Builth Wells.
Organised by the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society, the Winter Fair combines one of Europe’s leading prime-stock shows with a large programme of competitions, exhibitions, displays, Christmas shopping and Welsh food and drink.
It is both an important agricultural event and a popular festive day out, attracting farmers, exhibitors, rural businesses and visitors from across Wales and further afield.

Hundreds of competitions take place across the two days, with prime stock and livestock remaining at the heart of the Winter Fair.

Planning your visit
The Royal Welsh Showground is in Llanelwedd, close to Builth Wells in Powys. The organisers provide free public parking at the showground, with limited accessible parking for Blue Badge holders.
Advance tickets can be purchased directly from the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society. The organiser recommends buying online in advance to help avoid queues at the gate.
